1. You are an expert on your own experiences, not anyone else's.
2. The idea of a standard narrative is BS, even though "the standard narrative" is true for some people.
3. Ask everyone their pronouns, not just people you think are trans.
4. If cis people do something shitty, don't blame it on other trans people.
5. Trans men are trans too.
6. Non-binary people can be trans too.
7. Believe people when they tell you what they are.
