Dear #practicecoding #pcode people,
please have a look at the Issues in the firststeps project on gitlab. (Join the pcode group first: https://gitlab.com/pcode).
Issues are the place to discuss all our issues, obviously ^^
@necrosis (you only want to use the projects we host on gitlab.com, not install you own gitlab instance) @TQ@octodon.social
@TQ@octodon.social Why do you think that? You just need git for Windows. @necrosis
@TQ@octodon.social We can still use github, though. Nothing has been decided yet? @necrosis
@necrosis @TQ@octodon.social Ok, it's now a public group where we should still be able to create private projects :) you can now request membership in this group too ^^
@TQ@octodon.social @necrosis Haha ok seems like this happens when you try to visit a private group page?
@necrosis @TQ@octodon.social What? No... you need to sign in
@necrosis @TQ@octodon.social
I just made this group. We don't need to use it, but we could ^^
We could use #pcode instead of #practicecoding? Because all the typing ^^
@vfrmedia There kinds of people are everywhere in tech world so I wouldn't be surprised. I think a group on gitlab is best, because we can have private and public projects there. So people can decide which one they prefer for their different projects that might come out of this. @TQ@octodon.social @ekaitz_zarraga
@ekaitz_zarraga Yes, private repositories were my argument for gitlab. Just thought I was the only one who cared ^^
@TQ@octodon.social I don't want this to take forever so I'm ok with github, but still prefer gitlab.
Ok #practicecoding people.
Did wie decide on anything?
Are we going for Python?
