Is there a better flash card system (not for languages) than anki?

It should have an android app + linux version to edit / write the cards.

Ok I don't get the oat thing but that's cool. I usually don't get those memes 👾

@maunzikation Maybe it's a built-in halloween feature 👻 The ghost in the keyboard 🎃

@maunzikation Sometimes Linux does it on its own. I never found out why and when, but it happens randomly (but not very often) to me too ^^

Those days when we used to put hours into making html pages with tiled backgrounds, lots of tables and all the strange fonts 👾 Yes I am that old.

I could work on some assignments or I could just hang out on mastodon and follow every link that sounds interesting.

Any suggestions? ^^

@cassolotl@cybre.space I like to use small blank moleskine cahiers for notes and I use one for daily lists as part of the big bulletjournal but separate, where I just keep very clean todo-lists, so it doesn't get to overwhelming.
Did you know Leuchtturm is German for lighthouse?

@cassolotl@cybre.space I'm thinking about a purple one too. My current one is blue. There are two shades of purple and I would go for the darker, more intense one (the color is called Violett in German).
I have a black moleskine for other things and I don't like it as much as the Leuchtturm.

@cassolotl@cybre.space I actually like it to last exactly one year, I guess I will start a new one even if the old one is not completely filled. I might just add some drawings at the end or some stats or something ^^

@cassolotl@cybre.space They are just perfect, I'm going to get another one after that. Already thinking about colors. They make a nice wishlist item for end-of-year-holiday-things

@cassolotl@cybre.space I started mine in January and think it will last until December so it will have lasted at least one year (it's also a Leuchtturm).

#bulletjournaling today i watched a YT video and the person had a monthly wish list, directly next to their goals/todo-list. how great is that? I made one for my november setup too, to make sure I fit in some me-time and stuff for myself and time with friends the coming month!

@NerdResa Thanks for the tip. Hope I find time to have a look soon.

There is a new wireless daemon for Linux called iwd, developed by Intel to be an alternative to wpa_supplicant. It is meant to be more lightweight, e.g. to run on embedded devices. Also, I think it should be more consistent in its view of the wireless network status, as I learned in the talk at the "All Systems Go" conference.

I just checked out and compiled the code: git.kernel.org/pub/scm/network
It's released under LGPL.

@maunzikation Kissen oder Decke in den Rücken? Sieht jedenfalls sehr gemütlich aus :D
