That's a shitty way to wake up from a nap. A collaborative group event that does signups for volunteer shifts using a publicly writable Google Sheet (which is a GREAT idea to start with) had someone stick me in a slot when I was in bed.
Long story short it seems impossible to people that anyone could possibly do this and I'm sure they're just short of calling me a liar.

At least one of the people involved in the incident said some really nice things in my defense. Something along the lines of I've never stood anyone up for anything or lied about anything so if I say I didn't sign up, it's sure I didn't sign up.
That's super validating. Still I wish this hadn't happened and it points to a glaring hole in our process.
