Every now and then I rifle around for cute fake pokemon/eeveelutions and megas and stuff because honestly after the lamp, the keychain, and the "literally just a poodle", basically anything anyone comes up with can be a pokemon and it's great.
@trysdyn why get hung up on the lamp and keychain? gen 1 has a pile of goo that evolves into a bigger pile of goo, a ball that evolves into a bigger, upside-down ball, another ball but made of gas, and a metal eye covered in screws & magnets plus a little dome with eyes, both of which evolve into the same thing, but 3 of them.
all i'm saying is that pokemon's been like this from the start. I appreciate the weird pokemon, even in instances i'm not particularly fond of them
@Lenalia @trysdyn gen 1 would get so much hate if it came out 5 years ago. i think we as a society have moved beyond hating everything after gen 2 now, at least. I love how pokemon can be whatever.
