Hi, everyone. My girlfriend, who lives in Madrid, Spain is looking for some advice on getting local transgender healthcare.
She is trying to find a trans-friendly endocrinologist in the area who would be able to help her with getting on HRT. She previously had awful experiences with the GIC and not receiving access to trans healthcare for years. (1/3)

Alternatively, she's open to recommendations for other doctors who would work with her outside the GIC, including private doctors, so advice on the available alternatives and what to look for would be helpful too. Thank you! (3/3)

Recently she was recommended a doctor named José Ángel Díaz Pérez at the Hospital Clínico San Carlos to start on HRT. She's unsure if he would be willing to help with her situation, though.
Does anyone have any experiences with this doctor? Any advice or suggestions with what to expect, how to act, and what to ask are appreciated. (2/3)
