I just released a new version of Monster Genetics. Now, you can generate fantastical descriptions of species by pressing D, and as the species evolve, so do the descriptions.

Monster Genetics is a little simulation game I've been working on for the past month. It's pretty bare bones at the moment, but I thought people might be interested in trying it out. Currently, it's more of a game that you watch rather than play; think of it like an ant farm. For more information, check out the readme.

Int the middle of the night, and I'm looking at this blog that pairs David Bowie looks with sea slugs: https://bowiebranchia.tumblr.com/
Also, NetHack 3.6.1 just got officially released on alt.org, and people are racing to get the first ascension, which is pretty exciting: https://alt.org/nethack/
I ascended for the first time in xNetHack, which is one of my favorite NetHack variants. It's worth playing if you like vanilla NetHack but want some quality-of-life improvements: https://www.hardfought.org/userdata/M/MiseryMyra/xnethack/dumplog/1524340322.xnh.txt
