I recently played through All Our Asias, which is a short narrative game that's free on Steam. It was a nice experience, and I think it's worth checking out: http://store.steampowered.com/app/698050/All_Our_Asias/
I ascended for the first time in any NetHack variant today, including vanilla. It was quite an experience. The variant I ascended in is FIQHack, which I mentioned earlier. Here's the log, if anyone is interested: https://www.hardfought.org/userdata/M/MiseryMyra/fiqhack/dumplog/2018-03-24%2000%3A02%3A26%2C%20MiseryMyra-Val-Hum-Fem-Law%2C%20ascended.txt
It's time for Classics Of Game: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vlVb1p4Splc&list=PLvkpyltLiH5Y0h7_XNXCQlG2b2cwNwAQ9
When I was younger, I had a very bitter outlook on humanity despite (or maybe because of) having a generally sheltered and poor understanding of it. Now that I'm older and have a much clearer perception of the ills of society, though, I'm trying a lot harder to just be kind to people and be optimistic about the ability of our actions to create a better future
In light of this, I have been playing FIQHack, which is a NetHack variant with some quality-of-life features that make it significantly less tedious to actually play
Here are the cats I'm pet sitting. Their names are Jimmy and Tofu, respectively
