Still searching for a decent, good looking, affordable (even better if free and available on Debian repositories!), turn-based strategy game for Linux.
Any suggestions? Retoots appreciated! n.n
@aeonofdiscord I've played Civ... 5, I think, on PC. Quite enjoyed it.
Played and liked Steamworld Heist too.
Also watching a playthrough of Mario/Rabbids on Switch, and enjoying that.
@Morgan You can get XCOM (2012) and XCOM 2 for linux; the former should be cheap from time to time. There's also OpenXCOM if you like the older ones.
Depending on your graphics preferences you might like Battle for Wesnoth, which is free.
One underrated one imo is Age of Wonders 3, which is a Master of Magic/HoMM kind of thing, really well done.
@Morgan Battle for wesnoth wasn't bad, I haven't looked at it in years though. And I have heard good things about 0 AD. Both are open source and free. I think they are in the Debian repos. There are also a number of open civilisation clones but I am not sure fi they fit into the 'good looking' category.
@Morgan VCMI is a good open source engine for the great Heroes III game.
@Morgan which ones have you tried already?
