Drew my favorite dog for some art practice

Did some pixel art practice with more Maffi, trying out perspective stuff, and kind of being a little freeform with shading but I'll figure it out. Maybe I should try drawing more Nova again. :p

Isabelle confirmed to be some sort of goddess who can dictate the weather. As she said this, all the grass happened to become green again.

It's Maffi! As pixel art, so it's the first full-color picture of her I've done, meaning I can really show off the purple ears. I figured the clothes should be purple too.

Made crescent dogs again. This is the only way I will ever really eat hot dogs since I don't have a grill nor the desire to eat 8 of them by myself before they go bad in their regular form.

Map editor for the microgame tool works well enough, I guess. This is really making me realize I should create like, some actual nature tiles for the sample assets. Grass at the very least!

I've been Vegeta in Minecraft since 2011 and it'd be a shame to stop now, but I wanted to try being Isabelle or Gadget or someone else I have a crush on, so I figured this was a good compromise

I bet it would be faster to find the photos I want to send on my phone if I didn't have to scroll past pages and pages of stuff like this. Worth it!

I also tend to take the same photo a few times in case one of the pics is blurry or something and never delete the redundant extras.

Now I'm actually rendering NES tiles with JavaScript instead of having the tileset just be a PNG, which means I can change their colors. I'm glad that unlike Twitter I won't automatically get followed for saying JavaScript here, too.

Try 2 at drawing Maffi. Better hair, better anatomy/proportions, making little improvements. Realizing I should probably just scan things instead of dealing with a camera.

Sample assets for my NES microgame creator thing. It's a mixture of graphics I reused from games I released, games that never saw the light of day or made any real progress, and new stuff. You'll definitely be able to add your own graphics too, but maybe not immediately in the first build of this I make public, since that will have to get into dynamically loading graphics per-game.

Eventually I need to actually make Super Robotnik Land real and finish this. Pingas

Doodled a mimiga (or a try at one) for art practice. Non-human proportions seem a lot easier to me for some reason, especially because I keep drawing too-short legs and often they're actually called for.

Tried drawing my girlfriend holding a keyblade for art practice, especially trying to learn proportions. I made the legs longer than I usually do because I always make them way too short, and tried making the arms and legs into two parts. (helped by her coloration assisting this a bit)
