Best part of having my game's level editor done will be that I won't have to touch menus for a good while. Menus are boring and repetitive to code, and a level editor is like 90% menu.

Updated version of Nova's inventory, featuring a mix of Animal Crossing and Minecraft tools, as well as a phone and some magic wands.

I wonder if there are any roleplay communities somewhere out there for video game characters, or if multiverse settings are the best you're gonna get.

Either way, I'm glad multiverse settings exist.

It sucks when something you're really passionate about either has no community, or the community that exists is pretty toxic, so you just kinda have to enjoy it alone.

I keep thinking I should take a walk and get out of the house, and then it turns out it's barely above freezing and I go back inside.

I kind of want to change the credits in Nova the Squirrel not to use my legal name anymore because I don't like it and I don't want it seen, but at the same time I feel like a potential portfolio thing maybe should use it.

I'm really enjoying writing 6502 assembly again. There's just something really nice about it that makes it a lot more fun than any other assembly language, at least for me. The simplicity is great, my code's clearer, indexing is great, etc.

UI design is very hard when you don't have much of an example to draw from.

Decided to use my hamburger on pasta since I haven't done this in awhile. I tried minced onion instead of fresh and it's not the same really. Less preparation time though, and I don't end up part of an onion that I never use and goes bad.

I think pickles are the kind of food where I can only enjoy them if they're cold. I'm not sure how fast food pickles manage to get away with it but they seem to be the sole exception.

Potentially not good: the cat seems to be learning how to open drawers. She already manages to get through my bedroom door whenever she pleases and maybe drawers are the next level after that.

I'll probably arrange a cartridge label next. That's tricky since I want to have a lot of Nova visible but I also don't want to get rid of too much "water." The picture really wasn't designed to be cropped into a vertical thing.
