There's also been a hint this entire time that there might eventually be one, because the level select graphics has a colon in the same style as the numbers, and now it has its intended use as a minutes:seconds separator in showing the best time for the level.

I'm putting a time trial mode into Nova the Squirrel since it really is kind of a fun game to run through as fast as possible, and it only counts time spent during gameplay so you can take your time when using the pause menu or in block placement.

I'm actually unsure there's much of a flavor difference from normal but it sure didn't hurt it! It really shines when I make tortilla pizzas or pizza bagels so I was curious about it in a real pizza.

Gonna try to bake a pizza with Italian seasoning mixed into the dough. Hopefully that works out well?

One interesting part of trying to learn to draw pixel art with more colors is you actually have enough to really establish more of an art style with, and you have to decide what direction to take things in.

I've been trying to redraw some of my earlier pixel art with higher detail for practice. I think before I start attempting detailed backgrounds at all I should get to where I feel okay with detailed foregrounds, since backgrounds usually involve much bigger pictures. Foregrounds are more about a manageable 16x16 I'm more comfortable with, next to other such tiles.

Tomorrow I will find out if Save-A-Lot's Jello knockoff really is pretty lousy or if I just prepared it wrong last time. I don't have super high hopes, especially as that whole place gave me bad vibes.

I don't feel like I'm "bad" at roleplaying anymore. I just haven't had good opportunities that worked for me and/or I worried too much about ruining whatever I was participating in with unexpected solutions.

Gonna make sloppy joes tomorrow, if I can pick up meat! They're a lot easier to know I cooked correctly than burgers are, and they don't suffer the problem my burgers do where I Just Can't Stop Adding Pickles and making the inside of the burger a sliding wet mess.

I really don't like how Sunday is *the* go-to day for a huge chunk of the people I know to have weekly obligations, since it leaves me with a day where I'm very much alone and most places are very quiet... Overall I'm not having a very good day today.
