Decided to use my hamburger on pasta since I haven't done this in awhile. I tried minced onion instead of fresh and it's not the same really. Less preparation time though, and I don't end up part of an onion that I never use and goes bad.

I think pickles are the kind of food where I can only enjoy them if they're cold. I'm not sure how fast food pickles manage to get away with it but they seem to be the sole exception.

Potentially not good: the cat seems to be learning how to open drawers. She already manages to get through my bedroom door whenever she pleases and maybe drawers are the next level after that.

I'll probably arrange a cartridge label next. That's tricky since I want to have a lot of Nova visible but I also don't want to get rid of too much "water." The picture really wasn't designed to be cropped into a vertical thing.

I've got a pound of beef I decided to get and I'm unsure how I wanna use it just yet. Burgers are tempting, but so are sloppy joes (which I do have sauce for) and a pasta I haven't made in a long time. And then there's a casserole I might want to make again..

I also kind of want to try out minced onion I recently got and see if it's a good replacement for chopping up an onion myself because that always takes me ages.

Looking forward to seeing my sister again on Christmas. Hoping things go well with people I'd rather not see too.

Box/label art progress from my artist; thoughts?

Messing around with my in-game level editor a bit and just being abstract. I think the level editor will really help my game stand out if I can polish it enough.

I think the box art for my game is the first time I've ever been drawn in a different outfit, which honestly should happen more often.

Dunno if I'll have five slots in the end but right now you can save and load level layouts on four slots. I'll have to add in the ability to change the sprite placement and save/load the selected tilesets. Maybe select music too? #nesdev #gamedev

I'm extending Nova the Squirrel's level sandbox into a full level editor, with saving and loading.

I like how the LEGO Spybotics series from long ago just made the bot/PC connection use light for some reason, instead of making electrical contact. Probably made it way more tolerant of a poor connection, actually.

I'm working on a feature for Tilemap Town where a bot can list out a series of maps it wants to listen in on remotely so you don't need one bot connection per map. It's granular so you'll be able to see that a bot is watching build commands but your chat messages are still private, for example. In addition to that, a map has to explicitly give a specific bot permission to listen.
