We're on the hunt for a cheerful story to close out this week's show. Anyone seen any Genuinely Good News from the continent of Europe this week?
By the way @europeanspodcast, what do you mean ‘Genuinely’?
I feel like there is something to talk about there.
@A_denie @europeanspodcast such as maybe; The Cream-coloured Courser seen on Öland for the first time in 84 years: https://www.svt.se/nyheter/lokalt/smaland/okenloparen-lockade-tusentals-till-oland-inte-setts-pa-84-ar
Maybe warm winds carried it to Öland. Maybe it got lost. Maybe global warming carried it there.
Maybe the thousands have flocked to Öland because they appreciate nature.
My question is, are we looking for bad news?
A few dead leaves are often left over on the tree till spring. Which do you see, the buds or the withered leaves?
