new drive's in and apparently working perfectly! now i just gotta figure out what to do next
(that's the dying drive hanging out the side, hooking it up was hell thanks to my 9 year old non-modular psu)

i should've took a pic before i cleaned it out, it was totally caked in dust to the point where i had to actually vacuum it out
