Yeah, that's right, it's *that* hot take. The one that nobody takes seriously because it's already been done to death
It's interesting because when you take the games as a single cohesive timeline it's clear that there aren't actually that many "bad" sonic games.
venting a LOT I guess
A sick part of me really hopes we're all fucked. That way, when it finally reaches the people who have been denying that we're all fucked, I will get to watch in dark catharsis as they go through the existential rollercoaster the rest of us have been experiencing for like four years now.
And it will be too late for change, and they will see what they have done to the world, and they will not get a SPECK of pity. Not from me.
venting a little I guess
@toast@mas.to The thing that gets to me is the perpetual feeling of "well maybe if I did something MORE, we could fix this" when in reality none of us are in control, and the people in control are being controlled by people who care about image more than they care about the world ending
venting a little I guess
I just want to be told that we either have a future or don't have a future. I'm sick and tired of waiting for one or the other. We have this horrible, horrible gray area where nobody really knows how fucked things are going to get, and we're all quietly waiting for the world to give us an opportunity to get back up and dust ourselves off
Just wait until I'm like 80 and my grandkids are desperately trying to convince me that no, it's okay, the world isn't exploding anymore, we fixed a bunch of societal problems and I'm just there hissing through my teeth because there's no way it was that easy
*holds bubbles over the chao transporter like the fucking companion cube*
bubbles: abababa
me, crying: I'm sorry. You became a swim type. You cannot be allowed to exist on this emulated memory card
