The Amber Alert noise on my phone makes me immediately dissociate. This is not a bit. It brings back haunting memories/nightmares of weather channel alerts played on loop

I got these from Walgreens and it took a solid 8 hours for my brain to register the concept. This is an anomalous item and I am afraid to consume it

Okay I know I'm ranting about this at this point but. It baffles me that gamers can look at the concept of the G-man and definitively say "this story is not allowed to end until we know exactly who this guy is and who his employers are." What??

He's a symbolic entity! His whole gig is that he's mysterious and works for something even more mysterious. Do people seriously think that not revealing everything about him is "sequel baiting?"

I have been going along with "haha valve can't count to three" jokes for so long. Assuming that the reason Valve didn't make HL3 is because it would have to be a huge, bombastic conclusion to the series. Meanwhile the wiki is like

Wait. Wait.

So you're telling me that all this time, Half-Life 2 doesn't end on like. the world's biggest cliff hanger? And that the mythical Half Life: Episode 3 was basically gonna be Gordon blowing up a boat?????

The fact that people have been fuming over this for years makes me... frustrated

I swear I am going to leave this country, buy a few acres of forest out in the countryside, find a river, and then bathe in that shit like a nymph every day for the rest of my life because it's the only way I will ever stop being angry about America

I'm inclined to believe that the harassment of the woman who played Abbey in TLoU 2 has less to do with her character's in-game actions and more to do with making other actors think twice about taking roles in games with queer or trans characters in them, and using the character's actions as cover.

Basically ideological purity is fake and if you only engage with things that are 100% pure and impossible to corrupt and also perfectly align with your political views, you're gonna sit in a room alone forever

I was like "boy howdy I sure hope I have a job lined up by july" and now I'm running a Homestuck book club

PSA: All that "alpha" stuff you probably learned about how wolf packs work?

Complete, utter and total BS.

Wolves don't have an "alpha" leading everything and other wolves always vying for position attempting to take the alpha's place. No. Not at all.

Packs are just... families. That's literally /all there is to it/. A mother, a father, some kids. Wolves don't Obey the Leaderβ„’, it's just the ones leading the pack are... their parents. Like humans do.

To clarify this, now that I'm less pissed off in the moment: creating a rhetoric of "men are gross and tainted, women are nice and pure" hurts EVERYBODY.

And for some reason people think that it's going to help trans women? Like??? Sure reinforce all of my internalized transphobia and dysphoria, that's gonna help the situation

Y'all are we gonna have to have the "hating on specific identities ironically does not make it less shitty" talk again

lewd, flirty

Sometimes I wear a long skirt and no panties. Just for fun~

starting to put together a lovely little collection of critters ❀️

Hm, maybe I should play The Sims 4. A lot of people seem to like it, and it's definitely more stable than Sims 3, so maybe I can just dip my toes inβ€”

By popular demand this cursed design now comes in catgirl and foxgirl varieties.

You can actually buy one if you REALLY want to... They'll be up once the computers get them in the system and all that at society6.com/sevenishmagpies

Dappervolk is cool, and I totally understand why they limit your NPC quests on a per-day basis, but it is VERY mean that they say "get to 75 affection with this npc to continue the main quest" and then the daily quests give 2/3rds of what they normally do
