Pro tip for anybody running literally any server who needs to keep shitheads away: Banning slurs should be the very first thing you do.
It's straightforward to moderate, it doesn't make the rules complicated, and it will turn away gamergators/nazis at the door. Make the definition broad enough to cover the standard affair AND whatever new slurs people are cooking up off-site. (I call it the "4chan chef's special")
I have a deep attachment to safe/home spaces, so it hurts a lot to see the place I've lived in or two years go from "home" to "not home" over the course of a few days
If I have to read the word "vixenamoriphobic" said unironically with my own eyes and brain I will experience a primal rage that can only be quenched by a dozen showers and multiple depression naps

"We rational, totally-not-TERF lesbians are sick of being ~excluded~ from our ~own spaces~ and so we've made a new identity for women who love exclusively women who express their gender identity in one of the ways that we acknowledge. Here's a slightly different lesbian pride flag to commemorate us"
