body horror, dark, spider book spoilers

"All they'd have to do is cut the disgusting parts off. Hell, I could do it myself, with a bit of help. I'd lose everything. My arms, my legs. But people have lost so much more, haven't they? You could tell everyone that I was in a car accident. I'd live, and I wouldn't hurt anybody else.

I've already hurt you, too. I've seen the way you look at me. Your sick fascination. So go ahead, touch as much as you want. I'll let you keep the parts that I cut off!"

Suddenly that 2-hour writing session doesn't seem like such a big time commitment, huh?

Writing 1000 words a day seemed daunting until I realized that I play like... 12 hours of video games a day for no reason besides being bored

I awaken from my two-hour spider lesbian book stupor, and discover that two hours have in fact passed
