Some compression for #picotron userdata serialization: a byte-oriented RLE encoding that favors recently encountered values and works well with a second lz4 pass. It gives similar results to px9 / pngcrush -brute for typical data.
Here I'm dumping a test 320x100 image into clipboard and pasting back into source code as a ~5k base64 string.

I think if Bluesky had launched in November, I would have been curious. But I've been here for 5 months now and there's been a noticeable change in my physical well-being, including a drop in blood pressure.
The idea of a recreated twitter experience (with all the drama and mess) holds much less appeal for me now that my body's self-regulation is more stable.
May a thousand platforms bloom or whatever, I just hope there isn't a mass migration away from here. I'd be sad to lose this place.
