I made a little more progress!
Now objects can interact with the tilemap and each other.
Next I'll do some work on the main & options menus, and then I can get back to level design. ๐งฑ
@dysfun happened to me as well. The fact that it only shows up for logged-in users is funny to me
my games are on sale for the @itchio halloween sale! get em here: https://eniko.itch.io/
all sales at this point are basically funneled straight into #KitsuneTails development
I want to make a #roguelike but I have trouble choosing between #html5, #godot or #python.
Python seems the easiest for me with the downside of being less user friendly: players would have to download a game they know little about and use a text interface.
HTML5 means players only need a web browser, but I'd have to deal with both html, css and js. On the plus side, I get to use emoji.
Godot would count towards future-proofing but I'm not sure how it handles primarily text-based games.
@nano I assume it's in preparation to make it harder to use discord servers for public file sharing
@dysfun game dev be like

I made my first world in the original game and a second one in CE. I was surprised when I noticed how different the blocks feel since they're always a consistent size and shape in CE.
