On my mind this week is that the union leader for a Housing authority (kind of) in Mexico had the office's Pride Month/LGBTQ flag torn, in spite of? because of? the openly gay head of the institution. The Pandora's box of classism, union tensions, and other complex thoughts and feelings was blown open.

Sadly, none of the outlets seem to have moved to commission op-eds from the people best positioned to provide insightful analysis (ahem, @julieofthespirits).

Ah, I wonder why Photoshop wants access to users work? 100% sure it's for training "AI" stuff. Just with more people tried alternative software, Adobe has such a huge monopoly, might be one of the worst cases in software.

99.9% of jobs do not require urgency of any kind, really they don't. We've all had a boss who acts like someone will die if we don't hit some made up deadline by people who don't even do the job. No one needs their meal 1 minute faster or the paperwork before tomorrow morning. Your time off actually doesn't need to wait. Sometimes I think about how legitimately bad most businesses are at time management and hiring, and I wonder how they manage to exist at all.
