I don't expect to live in an amazing place as my first house, but I also don't think it's fair I have to spend tens of thousands fixing up shit that was caused by dodgy contractors and cheap work.
I don't think I want anything that unreasonable. I was just trying to make a home so I could have my little family.

So this shit with the plumbing/sewage is just another kick in the fucking teeth.
Oh, and I have no income. I'm not working. I'm a stay at home mum, we're on one income, and we're not really managing very well.
So this new thing, it's just. Just. Fucking.
So fucking great.
Aaaand as icing on the cake, if you complain about it, you get the "millennials are so entitled" shit for wanting your house to just, like, not be a hazard.

Basically, every single thing they did, they did as cheaply as possible. Their contractors cut corners, did things badly. Things like tiling over the waste drain in the laundry, to save a buck or two. Not installing the dishwasher properly so it leaks into the cupboard AND has a huge hole to let mice in. And my petty favourite: putting the ends of the towel rail too far apart so the rail doesn't stay…
…this shit has cost us, no joke, at least $15,000+ so far

So bitter and depressed about the things the previous owner of this house did when they prepared it for sale. They have screwed us over so many times.
Have just found out they didn't dig the trench for the drain/sewage right, so there's not enough fall, which is why our pipes get blocked so much. Minimum $5,000 to fix.
I don't know how we got to it, but we seem to be watching a compilation of ads and TV intros from the 60s and there's just so much low effort shit here
Started feeling a little sick, even though I'm inside, with excellent air conditioning. I think it's slight dehydration though. Heat, air conditioning, and nursing a baby all dry you out…
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
