My favorite thing about ancient aliens theories is that their proponents always seem to think that ancient people with access to advanced technology would portray said technology symbolically, like planes/spaceships being drawn as birds, filament in a light bulb as a snake etc. Because now that we do have these things we *obviously* do just that aaaall the time to understand what a light bulb is more easily :p
