Hmmm, I'm thinking genderqueer with tiny shapeshifting powers, so they always look like themselves (androgynous), but do change depending on the day. But they wear plate armour most of the time, so how would you tell?
They totally need a warhorse to act as the 'oh no, not again voice and tell them not to rush headlong into things.
Basically, I'm thinking do-gooder with very little impulse control and a strong desire to butt-kick for goodness.
Chalenging race is pretty neat to change your looks at will. Glamoured studded armour can be a fantastic option if you want good AC and fancy looks.
And the horse horse and the butt-kicking are always included in the paladin´s pack.
