Just got a response back from Dr. Martin Richards, indicating he has replicated my difficulty in building Cintpos, and hopes to have some work-arounds soon.

This is amazing. This is perhaps one of the precious few times I've had a positive impact on an open source project in my conscious memory. And, it has the added benefit of being a very important piece of computing history, too; for, Cintpos is the latest incarnation of Tripos, itself once the basis for AmigaDOS.
