@FuchsiaShock thanks, hug needed 😨 the scary part for me is that it "worked" from their perspective for a while.

I locked it all away until about 15 years later when I was hit by this huge depressive wave, slowly finding myself again, and realizing all the pain those who claimed to love and support me had done.

not sure where I'd be without a supportive partner, but no doubt this is where the suicide statistics come into play for conversion therapy.
