@witchfynder_finder part of my route cut straight through a section of the daniel boone national forest, so i was on this elevated stretch of interstate with only the barest of necessary civilization to keep travelers moving
@witchfynder_finder like in particular i recall one segment, i forget where i was, where these rock faces in these hills just kind of rose up on either side of me and i was in awe
also, pennsylvania highways where you can look off to the side and straight down into a valley
@witchfynder_finder highways that carve straight through rock and forest, where the faces of hills just kind of envelop you as you drive through them
@witchfynder_finder yeah when i drove between pennsylvania and louisiana both times i took a non-toll route that took me through some scenic areas, was really nice, especially through TN, KY, WV, MD, PA
