Oh no. Apple shut down Dark Sky and replaced it with a phone app.

What ad-free weather website do other people use?

@arborelia I am desperate for a better weather app.

Weather Underground’s forecast graph does some of what I want: wunderground.com/forecast/us/m (For some reason, web works better than their app, even on mobile.) Ad-free…if you have a blocker.

I use the Storm Radar app for radar imagery. Not totally satisfactory, but good enough. Ad-free w/in-app purchase.

Still miss several things about the My-Cast app I helped build back in the iPhone’s early days.

@inthehands I used wunderground before Dark Sky, but it looks like it's long ago turned into the kind of site that sells your location to data brokers

@inthehands ...which is what most weather sites are like, and why I asked.

also I'm really hoping for the relevant details Dark Sky provided, like "light rain in 15 minutes"

@arborelia I still haven’t found anything, including Dark Sky, that did a better job of that than me eyeballing the radar. But I may be a bit of a data nerd!

And no, AFAIK what you’re looking for does not exist. Alas. The capability is there, but somehow the market incentives are all wrong. Watching the other replies to your OP….
