If I were homeless and couldn’t afford to eat regularly, and if some kind stranger gave me a few dollars, that wouldn’t be nearly enough to change my circumstances. So yeah, I might spend it on some drugs to help me feel some temporary relief from hunger pangs and the constant beatdown of life in this harsh society. But if I received enough money to get a room that isn’t infested with vermin and enough to know I could eat for the next month? THAT might help me get on my feet.

Taking walks at the lake with the Gameboy Camera is becoming a more regular thing.

It's nice to have something small but not innately serious, like my Fuji GFX, to carry around, and the results are super fun!

I haven't been feeling up to hiking for mushroom photos lately though, and I really would like to get back out before fall hits!

A week ago, a driver turning right at 4th/King killed for a four year old. Today at the vigil organized by WalkSF and other non-profits, SFMTA said it would take 3 weeks to do a “quick build” to make the intersection safer. That's too long to wait. So we did our own quick build tonight and closed one of the turn lanes
