i think that like.... if i had one piece of advice for people who aren't sure if they're cis or not it'd be, the anxiety of questioning whether or not you're trans gets in the way of realizing you're trans. or not trans, as the case may be

people tend to get real caught up in the "how do i figure it out??" and angst over lists of things that make people trans and stuff at it's just. honestly just try it? just try gnc stuff and see how it suits you. it will feel good and right or it won't

try on clothing that ur agab wouldn't usually wear, try binding or tucking, try going by a different name on an online community. don't ever "well it feels good, but--" yoursf, if that makes sense. if it feels good it feels good? you don't have to do anything about it right now

the only exception to this, i think, is sometimes when u try something out and it feels weird or bad, it's because you don't feel like it's successful. the ways in which we don't look like our desired gender can be heavily accentuated by *trying* to look like our desired gender, if that makes sense? you might try on clothing and feels bad cause ur body doesn't look like other people's bodies in those clothes. you might try on makeup and it doesn't look good bc u don't know how to do it yet

i know literally no one asked for this advice but idk i've just been thinking about it a lot lately
