yet another piece of evidence to suggest the fae are an old description of neurodiverse folks:
you know the iron allergy thing? yeah well turns out there's a specific chemical where a deficiency of it is associated with being abnormally sensitive to needles—specifically the physical sensation (and probably not just needles; that's just what got tested)
and of the groups of people tested, autistic folx were by far the most likely to produce an antibody for it
