Nobody talks about this much but the only way to improve at art is to hunt down other artists and eat their heart to absorb their powers. It's a little discomforting the first time but you get used to it pretty quickly. I recommend walking around parks on sundays and catching painters who aren't paying attention to get started. 'Practice hard' is a myth made up for humor and art schools are basically just 4+ years of battle royale for a degree
