so theres a whole thing in dnd (at least older dnd?) about how when wizards cast spells, the knowledge of how to cast them is just like, shlooped out of their brain, which is why it needs to be recorded in a spellbook and prepared and memorized and stuff

and i feel like it could be pretty cool to play with the, like, extended effects of that, like, what would it do to someone to have had the magic reaching in and rewriting your memories constantly over your life
