like, if you keep the spelling rules but remove the pronunciation rules, that doesn't change anything once people adjust to it. if you keep the pronunciation rules but remove the spelling rules, suddenly english is a learnable language

@elfi @InTheLandOfTheRisingSun in some cases, certainly. but some rules are english original(tm), and besides. most languages don't use the spelling rules of a completely different language to spell their loanwords
