this is also a big part of why moriel is so scary. and possibly having the power to enforce compliance doesn't help
idk for sure but in my imo the fact that actively seeking knowledge isn't an explicit tenet is intentional. moriel generally values the publicity of knowledge more than the knowledge itself, and their adherents are likely to be knowledge seekers anyway. so that way if they have to compromise on something, the tenets suggest what to do, without otherwise really changing any behaviour whatsoever
