i wish there was a hand signal in american culture for "thank you" because i saw a maintenance guy in the window of the maintenance room fixing our building's water heater and all i could do was wave and send "thank you" energy and hope he got it
@autistikai i could but the chances a guy in his late 30s or early 40s who works on water heaters all day goes through the trouble to learn ASL is pretty slim unless he himself is deaf or knows deaf folks
@autistikai honestly it's probably the best too because even if he didn't get it sign languages are good and important
