@FuchsiaShock it's an exceedingly common autistic trait. personally i rarely talk about Anything without being prompted, unless it's like. a special interest
the other thing here that might be related is that smalltalk type stuff is often uncomfortable to talk about? i don't presently know how to explain how or why but it's definitely the least appetising part of a conversation in my experience
