Apparently hot take on raising kids 

Teaching children manners, and to say thank you after being provided a service (most likely by someone who is underpaid and overworked) is uhhh not teaching them to submit to authority. It's teaching them to express gratitude to someone who is doing something for them that they can't/dont want to do themselves.
