Is there anyone at NPR who is:

a) less than 100 years old

and

b) a lifetime inhabitant of the planet earth

people love to argue that trans health is a neglectable minority interest but as soon as it's about the cost of hrt it's suddenly this big strain on the budget

there's nothing there. or, more to the point, what is there is a notable absence of thing. there's nothing there, so obviously it cannot convey emotions, but somehow you are certain it wants to be your friend

@JohnBrownJr i don't have strong opinions about the quality of the star wars trilogies but i'd love to be free of the disney

....i forgot about the number ten

i forgot. the number ten. existed

i'm here, i'm queer, i'm—hold that thought. actually i'm not here gottagobye

hm i Could be doing things rn

or i could contemplate how much effort it takes to look properly fae when out & about

i'm not gonna do things

@BestGirlGrace i'd honestly like to See the civilisation that thinks a planet full of humans is a good target for invasion. surely they have Some sense of self-preservation

@BestGirlGrace oh absolutely. i just don't think the Humans would appreciate being compared to roaches. they seem to have some distaste in that regard

@BestGirlGrace tbh it's probably pretty hard to correct if they get the idea that's an Actual Real Thing. there isn't....exactly language to express that which wouldn't just as easily be interpreted as some kind of joke

@myconidiosyncracy incredibly valid and idk how to offer comfort bc i can't deal with it when i feel that way either

@BestGirlGrace ok sorry you gotta narrow it down more i've read at least a couple dozen tumblr posts with this premise

@BestGirlGrace i love that the base assumption is "they're aware of the fursona and they think it's real" and not, like, "this is first contact" or anything

@BestGirlGrace ....i just realised i've described humans as basically just space cockroaches and they probably wouldn't find that the Most Flattering comparison

@myconidiosyncracy i do too! i'm just saying. it takes guts to, like, interact with people on the internet. guts i don't always have. You Is Brave, fren

@BestGirlGrace well, obviously the humans are both incredibly hard to kill And they fit in small spaces better so they can do the maintenance stuff more efficiently (and using less energy, too)
