changeling thoughts, good stuff
having intimate ties to, and understanding of, both the mundane and the otherworldly—and especially where they come together. the magic and fantastic artistry of the fae, with the science and practical knowledge of the human. being able to use your power to help others who hurt—a guide for the lost; a home for the abandoned. a subtle, silken strength, tempered through inferno, stronger than steel. being yourself. a life that is, irrevocably and inextricably, yours

changeling thoughts, bad stuff
abandonment. neglect. social mimicry as a necessary survival skill. ostracisation. growing up 'wrong' in a way you can't quite place. the uncomfortable middle ground between being fundamentally different from those around you and yet looking and acting exactly the same. early precociousness devolving into ever-more-hopeless purposelessness, before reaching the realisation you might not survive as you pass into the metamorphosis that finally reveals you to yourself
