i’m a trained conflict manager and peer educator on SA/SV, DV, and harassment. does that mean i know how to deal with conflict? no, not always.
but i know this: every person experiences interaction differently, and our lived experiences define how we feel and react. a survivor, victim, or individual made uncomfortable has a right to react to a situation however their lived experience informs them to. this is how our brains teach us to survive trauma.
