if ur ever worried that u don't respond to messages fast enough, know this:
i just got an email from a job i applied to three months ago. saying they're looking to hire me. there had been no contact from them before this, and they took so long to respond they had to offer me a different version of the job (since it was scheduled to begin roughly two months ago). idek how to respond to this, it's Three Months late and they're still trying to hire me
sometimes i hate-read papers about translation efforts because anthropocentrism can't conceive of xenodiplomatic methodologies that aren't fucking terrible
aba
this is worth a read, if you can stomach an entire article on how aba treats human children worse than the legally mandated treatment of dogs. and no, that's not an exaggeration—aba is sometimes compared to dog training, and this is an actual dog trainer pointing out that no, they're nothing alike. dog training is Humane

like legit this would solve p much all communication issues where love is concerned. like, i don't distinguish readily between philia and eros just fundamentally Makes Sense as a statement
and also "i'm in philia with them" is such a cute way of saying "we're friends"
well that was....odd
stumbled into an argument about romanisation of words & whether it was, like, okay to do? 'cept, they. didn't actually talking about romanisation, just. all latin alphabet w accents & such. n im so confus? like?? if u need help reading in just the latin alphabet then why are you arguing about whether romanisation is okay You Clearly Need It in order to read things that aren't natively in latin scripts
a bug, not a feature.
