This weekend I:
did the climate strike, went to a fundraiser for immigrant protection organizations, joined the Odd Fellows, met other parents to have our kids play together, practiced accordion in the park to a very appreciative audience, responded to my first Rapid Response (anti-ICE) text (I'll tell you all about it sometime)
basically spent all my time outdoors meeting people and away from computers. I was overwhelmed by a strange feeling of... positive participation in society???

i mean, really, she could've been half the people i know. and when the only thing i knew about any of them was their usernames, i instinctively was like "that one. that one's my people". it's perfect
