get $15 from the makers of Tylenol
so Tylenol charged extra for "infant's tylenol" when it was identical to "children's tylenol" and now they're settling. You can claim the refund for 7 bottles without proof of purchase, so make that claim and let's hurt big pharma a bit http://www.infantstylenolsettlement.com/
@tifawt @skelltan @CornishRepublicanArmy @DissidentKitty eshpaniardsh is my favorite. see they all speak different horrible versions of spanish depending on where theyre from.

(i dont know why i felt compelled to add this; so is like everyone else on this site lol)
to insist that selfishness is human nature is a capitalist lie. we have proof that early humans took care of members of their society who would be considered "useless" regardless of their inability to contribute in a typical way. there are skeletons from early humans that show signs of disabilities that would have prevented them from contributing through typical means but who lived to old age and were clearly respected members of their societies
@DissidentKitty you should also definitely *not* try to get your textbooks on Library Genesis, which can be found here http://gen.lib.rus.ec/
@lyliawisteria @interneteh @DissidentKitty the word "cypher" was derived from "sifar" which meant "zero" in Arabic
@lyliawisteria @interneteh @DissidentKitty the Incas were doing crazy sophisticated things with data structures and computation theory before the Colombian exchange. Look up the *quipu*
@bryceyoungquist @DissidentKitty Al Kwarizmi, by the way, was the first exposure any Europeans had to the mathematical concept of “the number zero” and it freaked their fuckin beans. The kingdom of Florence actually banned the use of Arabic numbers to keep merchants from exploiting tax collectors with their sinister “zero”
a bug, not a feature.
