@esvrld@octodon.social @ItsMorgan @Aleums the liberation of night!!
a little while ago I posted on here and on twitter something along the lines of "When did you first know you were cis" I got a surprising amount of sincere responses from cis friends for what was meant to just be a poke at language about trans people and today a friend came back to me with "Remember when you asked..." So uh... remember to occasionally remind your cis friends to challenge the assumption that they are cis I guess?
Not like directed at specific individuals but like general.
Feminizing #HRT question: does anyone know of studies on the use of estrogel/oestrogel by transfeminine people? Our health insurance doesn't know anything about it, so we'd like to have information in case we need to try it.

@knownrobes @floppyplopper @FrazzledBrynn my art history teacher shared a theory that Islamic traders influenced art as far north as Ireland, comparing the scrollwork and lettering in old Gaelic bibles to that of Islamic illuminated texts. so it's highly likely they sailed to Spain, or just traded a heckin lot and their art moved around. the Muslim world almost assuredly started the European renaissance. sorry to jump in *hides behind painted canvas*
@witchfynder_finder *sitting down rocks and flowers in a mystical circle to lure unsuspecting humans* huh?
"Urgh, I used to be a hot man but now I'm a hot man with top of the line experimental cybernetics and I don't have to take the medication to prevent cyber rejection.
Wah, I hate this, for some reason."
Fucking dumbass cis people. It's their fault we haven't invented cybernetic genitals by now.
call to action, democratic civil engagement
Hey #pdx and #oregon peeps, there's a bill in the state legislature, HB 4126, that would legislate enhanced sentencing for anyone who covered their face in the commission of a crime--including protests that the police arbitrarily define as "riots".
This is a pretty open attempt to curtail the rights of masked #antifascist protesters, with the added "bonus" of making facial recognition and surveillance easier for the police.
PopMob has the deets over on Facebook, but might be worth calling your state senator and voicing your opposition.
a bug, not a feature.
