anyway i might not be able to bring about change myself but i have informed the people in charge that this problem needs to be addressed. i'll give them a week or two before i force the issue

because this space is fucking hostile to disabled and non-cis people, and it is Absolutely Inexcusable

yesterday i was refused for an appointment. i filed an official complaint and emailed the person i was trying to meet with directly. our meeting was today. fuck your bigotry i have Sisu and Innovation on my side

too well dressed actually. the cis keep trying to talk to me bc they want to know where i get my clothes. i'm absolutely terrified of human interaction

anyhow. so you treat it as though the base word is the greek singular when you're speaking in the plural (-ae) and as though the base word is the latin plural when you're speaking in the singular (-um) and nobody can even call you on it bc theres like two anglophones who know how any of that works

tho i mean. this person's ideology is blatantly like. capitalism with fascist leanings. so it's not a surprise

the fact that i'm legit writing the sentence "the author relies, when they use facts at all, on misleading or outright falsified information" is probably not a good sign for what's supposed to be a history book

being able to actually point out when someone's lying or misinformed and then being able to prove it when they challenge you is a good feeling. interestingly, the only arguments i see that are supported by false facts are the classist/racist/ableist/&c. ones. almost like bigotry has no basis in fact or something??? wild

gods, i'm so glad i have all this obscure historical knowledge. because somehow i have uses for it like every fraggin day bc people out there keep making the mistake of misrepresenting historical groups and/or events in my general vicinity

there Should be a convenient way for people to nonverbally express a general mental state. but it's not currently being developed alongside a system wherein people who don't have the option of just memorising the guidelines have a way to understand it

and really the primary issue is that if it's not accessible for people to understand, they're gonna have to ask for clarification. which, yes, defeats the purpose, but more importantly can cause problems for people who are signalling a bad state
