Look — I'm a homosexual binary trans man who enjoys vaginal penetration with his trans male partner. Sexually, it is my lifeblood. I love it. I'm not dysphoric about it, I've made my peace with it.
I've been out as a trans man for seven years. I've been a member of many trans-focused forums. I've obsessively read about testosterone and its effects for years because I wanted it so badly.
I hadn't seen the word atrophy until sometime around 2014 or 2015. Even then, no one spoke about there being a way to avoid it or treat it. I came across it from trans men who were lamenting the pain they were having, how they couldn't enjoy using that part of themselves sexually anymore...
and they had no idea there was something to be done about it. They didn't mention it. None of the sympathetic responses mentioned it. In fact, a lot of the responses were from pre-T guys who were scared it was gonna happen to them too.
So I too, in turn, had no idea there was something to be done about it, and I too had to resign myself to this pain that would inevitably come because of testosterone.
I thought vaginal penetration was something I'd have to say goodbye to until *MAY 2019*. I didn't realise this could be dealt with until five years later. This year. As an adult. Two fucking months ago.
No one on this god forsaken Earth can tell me I didn't do my research, didn't look in the right corners.
Info about trans men's health on T long term is LACKING.

I never heard that there was a solution to this, either. What do you do to prevent vaginal atrophy on T?

@Nymphia @frameacloud I have a friend who is 1) a trans dude 2) healthcare worker 3) who is using estrogen cream to treat atrophy. I can ask if he knows anything more.
