The one thing they don't tell you about transing is that cis people are completely lying about short hair being low maintenance.
You gotta trim that shit every week, practically. You gotta put stuff in it to style it. If you decide to go ultra-low maintenance and shave it, well, now you've got to shave it all the time to keep it that way.
@sparkymonkey I've been going to a queer barbershop, but it's still very awkward to deal with the small talk, and I can never seem to communicate the cut I want right. Getting your hair cut professionally just sucks.
@avi I hate getting my hair cut. Most barber shops have this super ramped up hyper masculine vibe that does not compute for me. And the part where you’re expected to make small talk basically makes it fully poison for me.
