ancaps, bad

@BestGirlGrace any time someone mentions ancaps i think of this

i've been struggling with some code to handle more complex knotwork and sometimes it's close to working but other times it's just a mess

The other day someone on fedi was saying something about how "the Communist uprising won't happen until there's a manga version of Das Kapital" and, welllll....

The problem with the concept of making a joke account, posing as Martin Shkreli, is that it's very hard to be ironic about someone who is, themselves, so irony-poisoned that they're trolling on social media while on their way to prison.

He was very much suspended and then banned from Twitter.

@melissasage It's not upsetting if I post about Melissa, oh wait it probably was

Martin Shkreli is the answer to the question, "What if Ferris Bueller was a real person?"

Pictured here is every single trans Pokemon (excluding gen8)

And I'm poly.

So, I was already dating someone else, concurrent to all this.

In conclusion, that relationship was a fucking mess.

Blocking and cw's are good, but sometimes I think about my ex asking me to cw because it upset them to see me make happy posts about a new relationship (after they had dumped me)

Hot tips:

1. If you are not MuFos with a person, do NOT ask them to CW something. Just mute the conversation.
▪️ If you are white, and they are not, you are engaging in a racist method of control by trying to make this about you. Look it up.
2. You are not obligated to look at things that upset you. This means:
▪️ Don't follow accounts that don't CW shit that upset you. You should probably mute them. no one will know, I promise.
3. Read a book to educate yourself instead. Please.

I am referring to "The Empire Strikes Back: A Posttranssexual Manifesto", by Sandy Stone. In this essay, which is widely credited with originating transgender studies as an academic discipline, Stone argues against what she describes as "transsexualism", the all-too-familiar view that the only acceptable form of trans existence is one which aims for a "full" medical transition into a binary gender, in order to "pass" and become fully "integrated".
